Food Pantry Donations



The LCC Food Pantry has always been extremely busy and continues to provide even though the numbers for those in need have been increasing. LCC's Food Pantry Ministry is the largest pantry in the area. In 2007 we served 2501 bags of food that helped feed 8392 family members. This was a 16% increase over 2006 of 2150 bags of food. The retail value per bag of food is $15.00. The cost of 2501 bags of food is $37,500.00. Food purchases of $12,500 and donated food of $25,000 filled these bags for the needy families.

Here's a few ways you can help us with our Food Pantry needs:

An online credit card donation. Google Checkout is offering free donation services to LCC until the end of 2008. This is an easy way to provide donations for our Food Pantry.


To make a credit card donation to LCC's Food Pantry, please enter your donation amount to the right and click the "Donate" button. Enter amount in dollars (and optional cents) e.g. enter $20.00 as 20.00 or 20. You'll be taken to a Google page which will collect the donation information and send you a confirmation email. Please note that LCC is a 501(c)3 tax exempt organization.

Bring non-perishable food items to the church office during the week (9:00 a.m. - Noon, M-F) or drop items off during Sunday worship services.





Checks or cash donations at the church office or during worship services are always appreciated. Please place checks in an envelope clearly marked "Food Pantry."
